Hermione's Everyday Socks
I love hand-knit socks. I love knitting them, I love wearing them. When I got this gorgeous yarn in my SockCrate a few months back…
I liked the colours, but sometimes variegated and self-striping can look weird with a pattern. I wanted something simple, but still a bit zazzier than just a vanilla sock. Enter Hermione’s Everyday Socks.
I love this pattern. It’s a cuff-down sock with a heel turn and gusset- a.k.a my preferred sock method.
I did make a few changes. I like a short sock, so I halved the rib rows to ten and made the leg about 6.8cm from the top.
I also modify the numbers to make this on four dpn’s instead of two.
If you haven’t knit this pattern yet, definitely pop it in your Ravelry queue!

These socks are wearing amazingly well, are super comfy, and are so all-around awesome I made a pair for my friend and realized I didn’t have a video about them, so here it is!
