I love sock knitting, so when I realized that KnitCrate* had a sock crate, of course, I was here for it!

I got the anything goes membership because I like a surprise, and when it comes to socks I don’t mind if they’re a bit more fun.

My crate was quite late because shipping to Ireland takes a while at the best of times, but better late than never, right?

The yarn is on their sock base which is 75% superwash yarn and 25% nylon- perfect for socks! The colour
I got is succulent. I like a fun sock, so I’m happy with this. It’s cute, soft, squishy, and I want it on my feet.

The extra this month was a cute stitch marker! This one opens up so you can use it for crochet as well. Honestly, you can never have enough stitch markers (especially adorable ones) so I was really happy with this.

I like that KnitCrate gives both knit and crochet patterns- even for socks. I had never really heard of crocheted socks before so it’s cool and a little bit mind-boggling. I like both patterns this month, but I think I’m going to go with these knit ones both because I’m not confident in my crochet skills, and because these are just incredibly cute.

If you want some live-action action, here’s a video of me opening this!

All up, I’m really happy with this crate, and can’t wait to make these socks!
