August KnitCrate Unboxing

Better late than never, right?

There were some shipping issues with KnitCrate*- for both the end of the dyers and the suppliers.

Especially when it comes to this yarn. It’s a Vidalana Linen Jewel in Midsummer Rose. I was extra excited because this was the colour I wanted. It’s a fingering weight 50% superwash merino, 30% linen, and 20% silk blend and it is amazing.

*Just a heads up, there are affiliate links in this post. For more information on affiliate links and how I use them check out my Affiliate Link and Sponsorship Disclaimer.

The patterns are shrugs. When I saw the crochet one I was like, that’s amazing, I can’t believe you get that out of two skeins!

Because you can’t, there’s a shorter version with two skeins that I’m not a fan of. I can definitely see myself making the oversize one at some point.

The extra this month was a coaster. It’s cute. I mean, coasters never hurt. It feels kind of weird to just have one though. I think this one is going to live by my coffee table nest.

All up, I like this crate. I have the anything-goes subscription so when I get a colour I wanted I get extra excited. This is a gorgeous yarn that I can’t wait to use.
